What is a Sound Bath?

Our sound bath is a harmonious blend of shamanic ritual and mystical sounds, creating a timeless and transformative journey for the mind, body, and spirit. What makes our sound bath unique is the synergy of expertise between Angelique, a skilled Shamanic Practitioner, and Vincent, an experienced multi-instrumentalist. Together, they craft an immersive sensory experience that transcends ordinary relaxation. Angelique gently guides participants into deep tranquility, opening the space for a profoundly healing and musical exploration. This journey is designed to quiet the mind, awaken the heart, and reset the nervous system, allowing for deep relaxation, emotional clarity, and energetic alignment.

The Science Behind Sound Healing

The resonant frequencies of sound healing instruments, such as crystal singing bowls, drums, and chimes, have been scientifically proven to stimulate these brainwave patterns. Studies using EEG (electroencephalogram) scans have confirmed that exposure to these frequencies reduces stress hormones, lowers heart rate, and enhances overall emotional well-being.

Sound vibrations also work on a cellular level, promoting nervous system regulation, energy balancing, and emotional release. This makes sound baths an effective tool for reducing stress, improving sleep, and fostering deep states of peace and clarity.

Scientific studies have shown that sound therapy can alter brainwave activity, guiding the brain into Alpha and Theta states—the frequencies associated with deep relaxation, meditation, and emotional healing.

Theta brainwaves (4-8 Hz) are associated with deep meditation, heightened intuition, and subconscious healing, similar to the state achieved during deep sleep or hypnosis.

Alpha brainwaves (8-12 Hz) are linked to a calm, creative, and meditative state, where stress and anxiety begin to dissolve.
